2010 CenturyLink Flu Shot Program

The 2011 Legacy CenturyLink Flu Shot Program includes three different choices for employees to get a flu shot this fall:

  1. On-site flu shot clinics - (for locations with 50 or more employees) which will be coordinated by our Wellness vendor OptumHealth/Wellness Inc. Here is an updated list of the locations that have already been targeted for the on-site clinic and a summary of OptumHealth/Wellness Inc.'s site coordinator's responsibilities.

  2. Walgreens Voucher - available 10/1/2011 through 3/31/2012. The Walgreens Voucher will allow an employee to receive a flu shot at no cost at any Walgreens pharmacy.

  3. Retail Vaccination Program – available 10/1/2011 though 3/31/2012. Employees and their benefit eligible dependents can go to any participating Express Scripts or Medco retail pharmacy and receive a flu shot at no cost. Certain states do not allow minors to receive vaccines at the pharmacy. Employees can ask their local pharmacy or refer to the state listing of Vaccination Regulations.

NOTE: Contact your local network pharmacy in advance to inquire about vaccine availability and current vaccination schedules. You will need to present your Express Scripts Prescription ID card (if enrolled in the PPO Plan) or UnitedHealthcare/Medco card (if enrolled in the CDHP) at the time of service.

There are several ways to locate a participating pharmacy:

Express Scripts

  1. Visit www.express-scripts.com and click the Find a Pharmacy that Offers Vaccines link for a list of vaccine network chain providers.
  2. Call the number on the back of your Express Scripts prescription ID card to find a participating pharmacy near you.

UnitedHealthcare (Medco)

  1. Visit www.myuhc.com and click the Pharmacies and Prescriptions tab. Then choose "Locate Pharmacy" to find your nearest network retail pharmacy. Call or visit that pharmacy to find out if they offer flu vaccines
  2. Call the number on the back of your UnitedHealthcare ID card to find a network pharmacy near you.
